The terms, in plain English.

You may use PawHaven for lawful purposes — to learn about dogs in our care, apply to adopt, foster, volunteer, donate, or shop. Don't scrape, abuse, or attempt to disrupt the service. Don't submit applications under someone else's name without their permission.

Submitting an application doesn't guarantee adoption. We review every application and reserve the right to decline for any lawful reason — most often because we believe the fit isn't right.

If you adopt, you agree to the terms of the adoption agreement signed at finalization, including humane care and returning the dog to us if you can no longer keep them.

Donations are non-refundable except in cases of demonstrable error. Recurring donations can be canceled at any time by emailing us or through your account. Donation receipts are issued by email.

We accept returns on unused items in original packaging within 30 days of delivery. We'll cover return shipping for damaged or incorrect items. Refunds are issued to the original payment method within 7 business days of receiving the return.

We do our best to provide accurate information about every dog, but unknowns sometimes surface. To the fullest extent permitted by law, PawHaven's liability for any claim is limited to the fees you've paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We may update these terms occasionally. Material changes will be announced on this page; the “Last updated” date above will tell you when.
