In plain language: what we collect, why, and how to ask us to delete it.

When you apply to adopt, foster, volunteer, donate, or buy from the shop, we collect the information you submit — typically your name, email, phone, address, and the answers you provide on a form. For applications, we also collect the contents of your veterinary references, work schedule, and household details.
We collect some technical information automatically — IP address, browser type, and pages viewed — so we can keep the site secure and improve it over time.
We use this information only for the purposes you submitted it: matching adopters with dogs, scheduling visits, fulfilling orders, recording donations, coordinating volunteers and fosters.
We never sell, rent, or share your data for marketing purposes. We share information with partners only when needed to provide services — for example, the shipping carrier for an order, or a veterinary partner for medical follow-up.
We keep adoption records indefinitely so we can support you and the dog throughout their life. Order and donation records are kept for at least 7 years for tax and accounting purposes. Application drafts that aren't submitted are removed after 90 days.
You can ask us to provide a copy of the information we hold on you, correct inaccuracies, or delete it (where we're not required to keep it for tax or legal reasons). Email privacy@pawhaven.com and we'll respond within 30 days.
We use a small number of essential cookies — a session cookie when you sign in, and a cart cookie if you add a product. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.
